At Hugs for Harry, every rescue matters. Some of our newest arrivals are still undergoing urgent medical care, decompression, or just need a little time to feel safe, be showered with love, and come out of their shells.

Kenny is only two years old—but right now, he’s fighting a painful infection at the base of his spine near his tail. It’s serious, but it is treatable—and with the right care, Kenny can fully heal and go on to live the happy, playful life he deserves. Instead of chasing toys and soaking up love, he’s in pain.
Abandoned before he ever had a chance, he came to Hugs For Harry with this infection already taking hold—but somehow, his spirit is still intact. He leans in for affection, wants to play, and trusts that life can still be kind. Kenny urgently needs two critical surgeries—first to clean and stop the infection, and second to remove its source and prevent it from returning. Despite a torn ACL that requires serious medical attention, Toto remains full of energy and joy, always ready to play or snuggle. Her unique charm shines through her deep attachment to her cozy bed and her quiet, confident protection of those she cares about.
