We have so many wonderful dogs just waiting for that one special person to find them. Each one has a unique personality and story, and they all deserve a second chance at life.

Here our some happy tails of pups who got that second chance and now fill their special human’s home with unconditional love, licks and gentle hugs.

Sweet Bailey

Our hearts here at Hugs For Harry are filled love and happiness for the incredibly sweet little rescue we named Bailey. This darling girl, one of our very first rescues, has been adopted by a family who just adores her!

Remy

Life can throw unexpected curve balls, and sometimes the hardest decisions are made out of desperation. Unable to care for him, his owner left this incredibly sweet purebred pom had to leave him in a box outside a CVS store. Hugs for Harry rescued them and now Remy has been adopted by a wonderful couple who lavish this sweet boy with all the love and kindness. He’s the love of their lives.

Ivy's Whispers

In a world that often rushes by, sometimes the most profound love comes in the smallest of packages. Meet Ivy. At just four pounds and eight years young, this sweet chihuahua now has a beautiful family to call her own!

Goose

This sweet little soul, who we named Goose, was pulled from the brink at the county shelter the very morning he was scheduled to be euthanized. When we learned about him, our hearts broke. You can’t help falling in love with Goose and he now had a mama who showers him with love and affection.

From Heartbreak to Home

At Hugs for Harry, we believe every dog deserves a second chance — and Boone’s story is a beautiful reminder of what love and compassion can do.

Boone is a young Miniature Pinscher with a heart full of hope. His journey began in the darkest of places: a backyard breeding and hoarding situation where dogs were locked away, starved, and forced to live in unbearable conditions. Boone had never known kindness, safety, or the warmth of a loving hand — until he came to us.

Despite his traumatic beginnings, Boone showed a resilience that inspired us all. Once in our care, he began to heal. With the help of a loving foster family, he learned what it meant to feel safe, to be cared for, and to trust again. His playful personality began to shine. Boone loves going on walks, soaking up attention, and spending time with other dogs. He’s affectionate, gentle, and full of life — a true testament to the power of second chances.

And now, we are overjoyed to share that Boone has found his forever home.

Just this past weekend, a delightful senior couple — grieving the recent loss of their 13-year-old Miniature Pinscher — saw Boone and instantly felt a connection. When we brought him to their home, Boone seemed to know he belonged. He explored comfortably, soaked in their love, and curled up beside them as if he had been waiting for them all along. Boone is finally home with a loving couple, and his heart — like theirs — is full.

Coco is a sweet Maltese-mix gentle senior girl, who has been adopted by one of our fosters! When she realized what a special girl Coco was, she fell in love with her and just couldn’t part with her. So now, 😊, Coco has a wonderful forever home to call her own.

Picachu

Picachu was rescued by Hugs For Harry and is now living the life of Riley walking and playing on the beach with his lovely new family ❤️

Nugget

Nugget is the most wonderful snugglebug and now he has 2 humans, another doggo and a home to call his own 💜💜💜

Papaa

Our mischievious little Pin Papaa has found himself his human. He rules the roost and loves every minute of it!😍❤️

Princess

This tiny, brave senior who came to us after being found in heartbreaking condition: alone, injured, and afraid — will now spend the rest of her days surrounded by the love and safety she’s always deserved. Her gentle spirit and quiet resilience touched so many hearts, and now she finally has a home where she will be cherished like the royalty she is.

Chewey

After enduring so much pain and neglect, this gentle little soul finally has what he’s always deserved: a warm, loving home where he’ll never be forgotten again. From the moment he arrived, Chewey showed us the quiet strength of a dog who still believed in love—and now, that love surrounds him every day.

Snowball

We’re thrilled to announce that Snowball has been adopted! Once forgotten and heartbreakingly labeled “Dirty” in a high-kill shelter, this sweet little fluffball has made an incredible journey—from overlooked to absolutely adored. Her gentle heart, snuggly spirit, and soft-as-snow fur have officially melted the hearts of her forever family.

Kiku

This little fluffball with the biggest heart came to us after a rough start, but she never stopped believing in love—and now she has a forever family to call her own. Kiku’s gentle nature and sweet spirit touched everyone she met, and now she’ll spend her days surrounded by the warmth and care she’s always deserved.

Gracie

With her new family who adore her, she has found a place full of love and care. Her new papa, a retired veterinarian, brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her everyday life. Sally

She got adopted by a lovely family and the perfect person showed up for her, Immediately Sally took to the new family couch and settled in within 2 days. She is smiling ear to ear and feels so happy and loved - in the home of her dreams - with a backyard, long walks and a great loving family!!!

Finnegan

Someone found us on Nextdoor; and decided they wanted to come in and see the dogs and walk the dogs. She zeroed in on Finnegan as she wanted a dog that is older. Finnegan has a heart murmur and scars, but the bond was immaculate as Finnegan chose her and she chose Finnegan. They are both enjoying each other's company in Finnegan's new forever home

Dolly

One of our volunteers went to Petco to talk about an adoption event with the manager. The manager heard about our wonderful dalmation mix - Dolly

Within a few days the manager and her mother came to Hugs Haven and brought her dog to make sure Dolly and her dog got along

Dolly was nervous and took a few days to settle in, but she is being loved on and feels happy in her new home with her new god sister.

Mocha

A dog grooming client who frequented the establishment, fell in love with Mocha immediately

Very soon she could not consider NOT adopting Mocha, and they are now inseparable in Mocha's forever home

Mikey

Mikey was adopted by a family that had lost a dog some time ago and they were still grieving. This family came to volunteer and frequently walked Mikey. They fostered Mikey, and they fell in love with each other and they never returned Mikey and they adopted him - They taught each other about love!!

Chula

One of our dog groomers fell in love with Chula and would take her home periodically to foster her. The groomer could not let Chula go, and decided to adopt her.

Chula came to us half alive - Hugs for Harry nursed her back to health and the groomer and Chula found love in each other!
